I would ask this of the Creation Events team - however I’m sure that your seat will be held. You won’t get the email until business hours sometime on Monday, I believe. I’ve noticed that they process each order themselves - which is why it’s not an automated system where you receive a ticket immediately. If you’re worried about losing your seat, you can always email Creation at creatickets@creationent.com (be sure to give them all your information such as your full name, email, and which convention it is) - but by the time they get back to you on Monday I’m sure your tickets will be sent. I do believe that your seat is held, however, I don’t see why it wouldn’t - however I don’t work for Creation and can’t be quoted directly. I do think you will get everything just fine - the good gold tickets won’t even sell out for a few months anyways, it’s very very early for that.

That sounds slightly typical, especially for the big conventions. Don’t forget that hundreds of people attended Nashcon, the handlers next to them often have the job of making sure everything is accomplished in a tiny manner with the high volume of fans queuing up for autographs. With Jared and Jensen especially - you do get more time with other guests, I’ve noticed occasionally.

I had to poll people who know Asylum better and who were attending Asylum 8 before I came to this consensus. Diamond tickets vary - but they contain something along the lines of extra photo ops and autographs, front row seats, coffee lounge with the main guest, and meet and greet perks. No Diamond tickets have been sold yet. I hope that helped!

I just answered this a few days ago here: http://spncon101.tumblr.com/post/6249855472/hello-im-going-to-my-first-con-next-month-njcon-and
It’s an additional option for convenience.

I agree! Going gold is worth the full experience at least once! And even if anon is going alone, they’ll be able to make plenty of friends there. I’ll meet up with any of you guys coming by!

No, each ticket is redeemable for only one autograph.

This is a good question. Other than dessert at the dessert party and breakfast at the breakfast party (provided by the convention to GOLD pass only) - they do not provide food. You should bring your own food or at some hotels they have a few restaurants in the lobby. In your case, because you are driving back and forth you have the luxury to save a bit of money and bring your own food!

I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do that, because while the actors are signing things, they have a “handler” sitting there with them who works for the convention. You can probably ask on a case-by-case basis and see if they will allow it but it’s definitely not a guarantee. Row L is not bad at all, think of the alphabet letters as numbers - L would be 12th row. Some convention seats go as far back as AA or BB sometimes so L is pretty good.

I am not really sure, as they haven’t posted a tentative schedule yet. Each convention schedule is pretty unique to the convention and you kind of have to wait until they post it to get a better idea. At LACON for example, it was in the afternoon, but at Nashcon this weekend it was late at night, it simply depends on how they fit it in.
Pre-registration is open at specific times to Gold and Silver pass holders. They basically give you an earlier time than the regular attendees to go and exchange your e-ticket printout for an actual lanyard pass. They sometimes ask you to additionally exchange your photo ops or autographs for passes as well for time saving reasons, but not always. Basically - the line is shorter and quicker so you get those things done quicker without having to stand in line for an hour the day of.

Parsippany doesn’t have a cocktail party at this time, so no, there are no exclusive 21+ events. The dessert part is a separate thing where they serve ice cream or cookies and it’s open to all ages. The gold package is all ages friendly for this convention.

You need an autograph ticket to get anything signed. You won’t get a chance to interact with them outside of autographs, photo ops, panel questions or exclusive meet and greets.

Yes, it is different for every convention because ones like Nashville are only “two days” and others are three… Most people check into their room the day before and check out the day after because of check out times - but most hotels will at least hold your bags and coats in a coat check sort of thing - I’ve done it myself.

I’m actually not sure! That you might have to ask the convention company, because I think certain cons are age restrictive without guardians. I don’t think Creation conventions are - I have never seen them ask people for ID or anything like that and I haven’t seen rules about it on their site before. The other conventions have different companies so you might have to poke around on their sites individually. Sorry that this was so late for Nashville, I hope you figured out your plans.

Yup! For Creation Cons, you can buy a CD of any photo ops you had at the end of the weekend. It’s not bad, especially because sometimes photo ops take a while to be printed and get delayed and mailed to you instead - which takes a couple months. Instead, you can have a high quality jpeg at the end of the con of every photo op you had that you want!

It’s set up in a similar fashion - they just call people by their rows instead. There wouldn’t be any reason the staff wouldn’t be super understanding and let you stand together even if you didn’t have a ticket too. I’ve seen lots of parents in line for stuff with kids at LACON for example.
Thanks!!!
