this is a guide to fully prepare you for almost everything you’ll experience in a creation supernatural convention.
ask away! this tumblr is dedicated to helping you get the answers you need to have the best convention experience possible - especially if it’s your first one!
Click to download the Bloodhound app, where you can pull up the convention event, see the schedule (when its posted), see who’s going, and other cool stuff all from your phone! I suggest sticking your seat and breakfast table numbers in your profile description so we can find each other!
this is a guide to fully prepare you for almost everything you’ll experience in the burbank supernatural convention in one week. this can be used for the other creation entertainment conventions as well (especially for regular events like panels and photo ops), but i tailored it specifically to the schedule and events in burbank.
Hello followers! I have been running this blog on my own for almost a year now! Can you believe it? I hope you have found it resourceful and helpful, and continue to in the future. I hope to meet many of you at conventions in the future, and to continue to help you have better con experiences!
This time I need your help. I’m determined to meet the $5,000 fundraising goal for the hope to Haiti trip. But I need everyone’s help to meet that goal. Together we can make the world that much brighter!
If there is anything you can give to the cause, you can donate at my page - http://www.crowdrise.com/HopetoHaiti2012/fundraiser/BiancaNera and I will be seriously grateful for your contribution - not to mention the kids in Haiti! Even something as small as $10 makes a difference.
Thank you, and I hope to see some of you at la or chicon!
I never brought this topic up on this blog, but I thought it would be a good thing to go over. I’m going to try and put together a post of suggestions for people with allergies to foods who are traveling to conventions. I myself have celiac, so I can’t have any wheat - a near impossibility for basic con food. So, drop me an ask, let me know about your food allergies, and if you’ve been to a con before share some tips and advice for what you did as well!
I’m considering attending again this year, probably buying a ticket in the next few weeks…
Is there anyone with a gold ticket for sale? The seats left aren’t as close as id like to be… I will pay every penny you paid on the ticket if you have one.
Anyone looking for a room mate?

I do not, unfortunately. Dear tumblr, does anyone have advice and experience to share with us??
Going to your first convention alone? Did friends bail on you last minute? Well have no fears, there’s always the extended Supernatural family to fall back on in times of need!
There are several tumblrs and other online communities dedicated to meeting up at conventions. Here are some to check out…
CHICON MEETUP on tumblr. (Chicago)
NASHCON MEETUP on tumblr. (Nashville)
LACON/BANKCON on livejournal (Formerly Los Angeles, now Burbank)
Do you know or moderate a convention meetup site? Drop us a message and we’ll share it with our followers!
Thank you all so much for sending in questions! I’ve used a lot of them in the basic 411 pieces I’m writing for this blog. The questions that were not covered will be answered in turn - as soon as I have concrete answers for you. Some of you asked very good questions that involve a little investigating myself which I am happy to do, so they might take a little bit longer but they will be answered to the best of my knowledge. Some, I’m going to ask for you guys to help me answer. I’ll be posting my basic guides for conventions first, though. There are a couple themes I’m following, so once those are written and posted, I’ll start answering more specific questions. After that, I’ll post a guide for each upcoming convention (starting with the soonest) and begin a tag system for each convention so you guys can check in on the ones you’re attending with a simple click. We’ll regularly check to update you guys with news on added guests, events, and other kinds of things. You can continue submitting questions, as long as I’m running this blog, I’ll be helping you guys with answers! In addition, I’ll start accepting post submissions once the tags system is set up and running for seasoned con-goers to share their advice too! I want this to help everybody with their convention experiences to make the most out of it! I’m nearly finished with most of my 411 posts so anticipate them coming very soon!
